|Be True to Our Blue|

In the summer of 2015 I had bumper stickers made that read "Respect. Be True Our Blue," and gave them away at my office in Mandeville.
I did this because there had been a rash of police officers around the country being shot and killed in the line of duty and I wanted to do what I could to show that I, and our entire community, stand with law enforcement.
I think it goes without saying; the men and women of law enforcement need us to have their backs now more than ever. With the recent events in Dallas and Baton Rouge, we must stand together and give our respect and admiration to our friends in blue.
The recent events have left me shocked and disgusted. I have been and will continue to pray for law enforcement and our nation.
